British Female Solo Artist
Florence & the Machine

British Male Solo Artist
None of them but if I had to choose then Paolo Nutini

British Breakthrough Act
Florence & the Machine

British Group
Either Muse or Kasabian but I really don't care about any of them

MasterCard British Album
Florence & the Machine - Lungs

British Single
can't decide between
Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love
La Roux - In For The Kill

Critics' Choice
Ellie Goulding (She's already won this though)

BRITs Album of 30 Years
Keane - Hopes & Fears
Piss-poor shortlist though - Kate Bush's Hounds of Love should be on here but they had to have won a BRIT for best album apparently and Phil Collins fucked her over in '86)

International Female Solo Artist
Lady Gaga (Much deserved I feel)

International Male Solo Artist
Don't like any of them (though I'm surprised Beck isn't nominated for what must be the first time in 15 years - WTF was that all about)

International Album
Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion (even though they were so disappointing at Green Man :( )
Lady Gaga - The Fame

International Breakthrough Act
Animal Collective (is this a mis-print?!)
Lady Gaga

Outstanding Contribution Award
Robbie Williams (didn't he already have one of these?!)

BRITs Performance of Past 30 Years:
Kanye West - Gold Dig.....Sorry Kanye, Imma let you finish but EURYTHMICS had the best performance of the last 30 years and deserve to win this
Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama (2005) (was very good too, in a tripped-out Muppet sort of way)

I'm really not looking forward to Florence's performance with Dizzee Rascal - whoever thought up that collaboration needs to be shot forthwith
Jay-Z, Cheryl Cole, Lily Allen, Kasabian, Lady GaGa, JLS & Robbie Williams will be performing too.
After Peter Kay's performance at the Royal Variety I don't understand why they got him to host it either but I think I'm just bitter about the whole thing coz I'm starting to feel out of touch with it all

Bit of trivia: Both Jamiroquai and Radiohead have been nominated for 15 awards each over the years and have never won once

I didn't actually watch the Brits last night (which sounds like a good thing from what I've heard), so I'm just checking the actual results against my own personal choices that I posted on here...

Ha ha, I got a grand total of 1!! Florence & The Machine for best British album. That was it.

Ho hum.

4 right(thanks to Lady Gaga. ) 5 if we can count Robbie Williams, though I failed to pick Ellie Goulding even though it had already been announced.
It was'nt as good a show as I thought it would be. Liked the Florence song but it would have been better without the iritating Dizzee Rascal.
Lady Gaga is impredding me more and more, though I am still not tempted to buy her album.
JLS, I am speechless, obviously voted for by the younger generation- when they should be in bed.
It was about time Lilly Allen won something, though her music can be hot and cold with me.
And finally what a Knob was the Gallacher brother(don't rightly know which one as is a bit like Ant And Dec- who cares)- throwing his award into the crowd- it meant that much to him- and I know there will be a fan of his on here defending what he did, but he is stil a knob..
